What we liked
- + Listing says it withstands up to 1400 degrees F, relevant for wheel faces near the brakes.
- + Brake dust repellent, slick surface that resists iron fallout and road grime so cleanup is easier.
- + Hydrophobic with a satin finish, from Gyeon, a specialist coating brand.
Trade-offs
- - About $60 for 30 ml, so it is a premium pick, higher than the old pick's price.
- - A coating needs careful prep and curing, so it is not a spray-and-go product.
